Human Resources Business Partner

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner, working closely with leaders to understand operational goals and translating them into people strategies that drive measurable results. This role focuses on workforce planning, talent acquisition support, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring the workforce is aligned, capable, and engaged to meet current and future needs. This is an on-site position in Newbury, OH and reports to the Human Resources Director. Key Areas of Responsibilities: Operates as a trusted advisor to business leaders, using data, insights, and strong business acumen to shape people strategies that support operational goals and drive business outcomes. Develops strong relationships with leaders and teams and establish operational plans to support their requirements. Oversees implementation of the plan through the deployment and collaboration. Provides workforce analytics and insights to guide staffing decisions, talent actions, and organizational structure improvements. Partners with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including defining roles, strengthening selection processes, and ensuring hiring aligns with future capability needs. Identifies talent risks and opportunities, supporting succession planning, internal mobility, and development strategies to build future organizational needs. Uses metrics and data to diagnose issues and develop data‑driven solutions. Advises and assists leaders on employee performance issues and actions. Mediates and investigates employee relations issues seeking prompt and fair resolutions. Successfully executes and manages the annual performance, succession, and merit review processes for the business partners in collaboration with people operations team members. Ensures HR policies and practices are applied effectively and support a high-performing culture, and promote fairness, equity, and compliance. Collaborates with regional and global HR teams to align initiatives, share best practices, and support cross functional teamwork to enhance consistency to drive company results. Promotes a positive and engaging work environment by maintaining open lines of communication. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required. 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in industrial manufacturing. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR compliance requirements, with the ability to apply them effectively in day‑to‑day decision‑making. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to balance a strategic, big‑picture perspective while maintaining attention to operational details. Demonstrated ability to mediate, coach, and resolve conflict using sound judgment, objectivity, and a calm, professional approach. Skilled at building strong relationships and internal networks, relating well to individuals at all levels and creating a collaborative, inclusive environment. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a service‑oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Possesses strong written and oral communication skills and can create and deliver effective presentations and successfully communicate change. Key Performance Indicators: Understands the business environment and operational plans (e.g., competitive climate, growth, new products, etc.) and their impact on immediate and longer‑term talent needs. Delivers HR solutions that directly contribute to operational performance, workforce effectiveness, and organizational goals, as evidenced by measurable improvements in results. Communicates difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a different point of view. Timeliness of delivery and quality of execution of initiatives and services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
