Software Engineer

Instead of manually navigating fragmented apps, brokers, and exchanges, users express what they want in natural language and the system handles the rest: gathering signals across social, on-chain, and financial data, building the strategy, backtesting it, and executing it with clear limits and safety controls. The team believes the future of finance is intent-driven. It's a small, elite team (under 5) with backgrounds from Stanford, DRW, and Citadel, backed by top-tier venture firms and angels from leading trading firms and AI research labs.

THE ROLE

The team is looking for an engineer who is an owner in the real sense of the word — someone with strong architectural judgment, strong product instincts, and the habit of turning ambiguous problems into shipped, reliable systems. This is not a ticket‑taking role. The right candidate is comfortable moving from architecture to implementation to production debugging without losing the thread.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own critical product and platform flows end to end — from concept to launch to production reliability Design and evolve architecture across services, APIs, and product surfaces with clean boundaries and clear responsibilities Turn ambiguous problems into clear technical plans, good abstractions, and shipped outcomes Improve system reliability, observability, testing, and developer velocity Bring strong product and technical ideas — not just how to build something, but whether it should be built and what the simplest version is Work closely with founders, design, and engineering to make fast, high‑quality decisions Fix root causes, not just symptoms WHAT THE TEAM IS LOOKING FOR (Must-Haves) 5+ years of software engineering experience in AI, finance, or trading, with a track record of owning meaningful production systems 3+ years using AWS, GCP, or Azure to design and deploy scalable systems, with strong CI/CD and DevOps experience High agency — taking full ownership of APIs, seeing gaps and closing them, and not waiting around for perfect specs Comfort operating in high uncertainty: able to evaluate many options, make decisions with incomplete information, and ship high‑quality code fast Very strong systems engineering ability — modular, maintainable code within a complex codebase Strong debugging skills and operational maturity across services and environments Strong written and verbal communication

NICE TO HAVE

Competitive programming experience (e.g., IOI, ICPC) or similar Experience in fintech, crypto, trading, payments, or other high‑stakes systems Experience across TypeScript and Python stacks Experience building workflow systems, automation products, internal platforms, or agentic systems Open‑source (FOSS) contributions
