Senior Endoscopic Technician - Gastrointestinal Laboratory

Senior Endoscopic Technician – Providence Holy Cross Medical Center – Mission Hills, CA Description This full‑time position requires 40 hours per week on variable shifts. The technician will perform a variety of technical GI/Endoscopy duties, prepare the suite for procedures, provide instrumentation and supplies to the physician, assist with scope handling, and deliver pre‑ and post‑procedure care to patients across age groups. The candidate will be an integral part of the GI/Endoscopy team and participate in daily department activities as a lead team member. Responsibilities Prepare the GI/Endoscopy suite for scheduled procedures. Provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies to the physician during procedures. Assist in handling and control of the endoscopic scope. Deliver pre‑procedure and post‑procedure patient care to designated age‑specific populations. Collaborate with the endoscopy team and actively participate in daily departmental activities. Required Qualifications Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements. National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire. At least 3 years of GI or Endoscopy experience.
