Line Supervisor II

Line Supervisor II manages pharmaceutical finishing operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility, overseeing packaging line performance, safety, and quality. The role requires leading teams on multiple production lines, troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving process improvements to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage line clearances, changeovers, and equipment troubleshooting across multiple packaging lines
• Work directly on production lines as needed to optimize performance and meet targets
• Identify, implement, and lead process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency
• Train Line Supervisor candidates and mentor team members as subject matter expert
• Communicate improvement opportunities across cross-functional teams and escalate issues appropriately

Requirements

• High school diploma and 4-5+ years cGMP manufacturing experience
• Minimum 1-2 years demonstrated performance as Line Supervisor I
• Technical certificate or degree preferred
• Strong safety and quality compliance focus with understanding of site policies
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated team leader with ability to influence without direct authority
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or MES systems preferred
• Physical capability: standing 8-12 hours daily, lifting up to 25 pounds
