Manufacturing Supervisor II position at Baxter's Round Lake facility overseeing daily production operations on a 12-hour night shift. The role bridges business objectives and floor operations, managing production timelines, quality compliance, and team performance while maintaining GMP and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily production operations to meet manufacturing goals, productivity targets, and timelines
Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
Interview, hire, coach, and develop direct reports with regular feedback and performance management
Identify and drive continuous improvements through lean manufacturing activities and process optimization
Investigate technical issues, manage deviations, and resolve problems impacting production deadlines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
3 years manufacturing experience and 2 years supervisory experience
Strong communication, administrative, and technical leadership skills
Assessment and troubleshooting capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and process areas
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance systems and preventive maintenance
Understanding of regulatory and safety guidelines for medical/pharmaceutical environments
Not allergic to Penicillin, Cephalosporin, or related products
