Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $71.28

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting, utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing staff and ancillary team members.
• Educate families and patients about treatment plans and care procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.

What You Need

Required:

• Louisiana RN license
• 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or critical care environments
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• CPI certification from Crisis Prevention Institute

Preferred:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area
• Proficient in electronic health records and clinical software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
