Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Details of the Opening:

• Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients in outpatient and/or inpatient settings
• Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and infusion treatments
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, medications, treatment plans, and side effects
• Coordinate care with oncologists, infusion nurses, pharmacists, radiation oncology, palliative care, and social workers

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA approved)
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Active CA license; will consider IMLC
• CA DEA
