Material Planner, CVRM (Holly Springs)

What You’ll Do Start Up Phase: Manage the material plan to support vendor and site testing of packaging and assembly materials during Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and qualification. Coordinate with multiple vendors, European Roche sites, and procurement. Act as a Materials Management SME for SAP ERP setup and deployment; responsible for the timeline, deliverables, and adherence to global template processes related to MRP, material planning, and procurement. Perform a mix of remote and on‑site work (initially at the General Planner’s office, later at the construction site/plant). Travel up to 30% of the time is expected during this phase. Transition to full‑time on‑site work in Holly Springs, NC in mid‑2026. Post Start‑Up: Work with Global Procurement to ensure uninterrupted material supply. Ensure MRP can be met and manage long‑lead‑time materials. Develop plans to avoid material shortages. Optimize inventory to minimize expiration and optimize storage space. Act as the artwork change coordinator and work with the global artwork change team to ensure correct packaging artwork is available on time. Partner with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components needed for production. Monitor inventory levels and work with the production scheduler to adjust the MPS as needed to prevent stockouts or excessive inventory. Utilize SAP S/4HANA for planning and execution, and OMP for advanced planning and scheduling. Generate reports, analyze data, and make informed decisions. Apply ASCM principles and best practices in all aspects of material planning. Who You Are Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field with 5 years in a material planner or similar supply‑chain planning role. Proven experience with ERP planning processes and software (e.g., SAP S/4HANA and OMP). Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; able to analyze complex data and make data‑driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. Preferred CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification. Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA). Experience with the implementation of large‑scale ERP projects. Compensation Salary range for this position (Holly Springs, North Carolina) is $89,300–$165,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
