Senior Accountant

Maintains the general ledger for daily accounting transactions and reconciliations. Codes invoices, reconciles accounts, and assists with monthly close. Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts. Prepares and Processes Journal entries ensuring timely and accurate financial statement presentation. Provides auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit. Maintains Accounting SOP's and adjusts as business needs require. Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting required At least 3 years of related experience required CPA preferred, but not required Experience in multi-disciplined accounting required Experience with multi-ledger departmental coding required In-depth experience with balance sheet journals and accounting processes improvement preferred WIP (Work in progress) experience desired, but not required Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of and ability to adhere to GAAP Proficiency in MS Office suite Software and ERP accounting software programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
