VP of Global Parcel Solutions

OverviewThe VP, Global Parcel Solutions leads the strategy, architecture, and go-to-market direction for OneRail's global parcel capabilities. This role owns the design and development of a modern global parcel switch, built on the design patterns of OneRail's core OmniPoint platform, enabling enterprises to manage parcel alongside all other delivery modes in a single, unified view. This leader partners closely with engineering (including a dedicated development team based in Poland), product, sales, and solutions teams to bring a scalable, high-volume, enterprise-grade parcel offering to market — one that positions OneRail's holistic, all-modes delivery platform as a clear competitive advantage over "parcel only" providers. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a blend of technical architecture depth, product management discipline, commercial acumen, and go-to-market strategy.ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead development of a modern global parcel switch.Follow design patterns of the core OneRail OmniPoint platform.Provide architectural insights that support scalability of enterprise parcel functionality (e.g., scaled credentials and high-volume parcel processing — 200+ labels per minute).Drive a unified ‘all modes, all service level’ delivery platform, in which Parcel is a new, distinct service level measurable across the platform, giving enterprises a holistic view of shipments across all modes.Write user stories defining required functionality, prioritize the backlog, and negotiate sprint scope with developers.Advise on OneRail's parcel pricing and commercial terms, ensuring OneRail maintains a competitive advantage for delivering a holistic solution versus “parcel only” providers.Support the Solutions team as they engage with customer prospects and existing customers, including developing an ROI strategy relative to “parcel only” solutions.Contribute to the holistic go-to-market strategy for how OneRail will deploy parcel relative to “parcel only” solutions.Lead and coordinate a dedicated offshore development team based in Poland, currently consisting of 2 Developers, 2 Backend Developers, and a Team Lead.Phase 2: Build the foundation for a OneRail Freight Audit Pay solution for existing and net-new clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.10+ years of experience in parcel, last-mile, or multi-carrier shipping technology, with deep knowledge of parcel carrier networks, label generation, and rating/shipping APIs.Proven experience architecting and scaling high-volume, mission-critical shipping/logistics platforms, including high-throughput label generation and scaled carrier credential management.Experience translating enterprise multi-modal delivery platform architecture into parcel-specific solutions.Strong product management skills: writing user stories, prioritizing backlog, and negotiating sprint scope with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Experience leading or managing distributed/offshore engineering teams.Commercial acumen, with experience shaping pricing strategy and commercial terms for logistics or shipping solutions.Experience partnering with Sales/Solutions teams on customer-facing ROI modeling and competitive positioning.Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to represent parcel strategy to internal leadership, customers, and prospects.Preferred QualificationsExperience building or leading a multi-carrier parcel switch or parcel shipping platform from the ground up.Background in freight audit and pay (FAP) solutions.Experience in broader supply chain, TMS, or OMS ecosystems.Experience leading engineering teams based in Poland or other Eastern European development hubs.Work LocationRemoteSummaryLocation: Orlando, FL, United StatesType: Full TimeExperience: Senior Manager/Supervisor
