Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurses to provide high-quality patient care on our telemetry units. This position involves potential floating to various units and the emergency department to care for patients with similar needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.Provide patient education and support to foster recovery and wellness.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.Work at least every other holiday as part of the staffing requirements.QualificationsA minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty is required.Possession of a current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments.Shift DetailsShifts include rotating day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) schedules.Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.If you are a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
