Job Description Laboratory Technician New Graduates are Welcome to Apply Location: Kapolei, HI Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Practice Setting: Clinical Laboratory - Toxicology / Chemistry Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Testing Personnel to join a growing clinical laboratory in Kapolei, HI. The individual will be responsible for receiving, organizing, preparing, and testing patient specimens while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with LCMS and laboratory instrumentation; however, new graduates with MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT certification are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Receive, accession, organize, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing Perform quantitative and qualitative laboratory testing using LCMS and analyzer systems Analyze, document, and report laboratory test results accurately and efficiently Monitor and maintain Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures Perform instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and supplies Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, COLA, and applicable state and federal regulations Assist with laboratory workflow, inspections, and operational efficiency Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records Collaborate with laboratory staff to deliver timely, high-quality patient testing services Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT certification required Hawaii State Laboratory Technologist/Technician license (or eligibility to obtain) required New graduates are welcome to apply Minimum 1 year of LCMS, toxicology, chemistry, or clinical laboratory experience preferred Experience with LCMS instrumentation preferred Experience with Analyzer/EIA systems preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced laboratory environment Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Based on Experience Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
