Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Multicategorical/Emotional Disabilities
• Previous experience or training in supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Skilled in managing and tracking IEP goals, data, and case documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as Special Education Case Manager for a caseload of 5-10 students aged 11-14
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver targeted behavior support and academic instruction
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and team planning
• Provide ongoing observation, assessment, and progress monitoring
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

This assignment offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at a single school site. The role is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through May 2027 or until contract completion with advance notice. Virtual interviews are available with prior arrangement.
