This is a critical operations role responsible for real-time alarm monitoring, access control management, and emergency dispatch coordination. JOB DESCRIPTION Monitor alarms in real time and dispatch security officers to incidents within required SLA windows Manage access control systems -- grant, restrict, and revoke access permissions; verify credentials; investigate unauthorized access attempts Execute emergency escalation procedures and maintain clear communication during high-risk incidents Monitor green zones and perimeter areas for security compliance Manage and update incidents using a ticketing system Respond to client requests via radio, intercom, and text-based communication platforms Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and documentation REQUIREMENTS Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication required Prior security control room experience preferred Experience with access control systems (Lenel, Genetec, CCURE, or similar) strongly preferred Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment Basic to intermediate computer proficiency Strong attention to detail Certification Requirements (All) State Guard Card Additional Information / Benefits Paid Holidays Weekly Pay 401K/403b Plan Short Term Disability Paid Vacation Long Term Disability Vision Insurance Medical Insurance Life Insurance The following screenings are required: Drug Screen Criminal Background Check Motor Vehicle First Coast Security is an Equal Opportunity / affirmative Action Employer (Minorities/Females/Disability/Veterans) committed to a diverse workforce.
