We aim to simplify business finances, allowing owners to focus on growth. We are looking for an energetic accounting team member to support our accounting department.
\n \nRole Description
\nThis is a part-time remote position for a Senior Bookkeeper with compensation that will vary based on experience, skill set and communication/document management abilities with hourly pay starting at $15/hour - we are open to discussing compensation and flexible to arrangements. The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing liability accounts, vendor updates and expense/income recognition as applicable, via Quickbooks Online, and maintaining accurate chart of accounts as necessary for small business customers. In this role, you will also ensure the smooth operation of accounting software, transaction categorization, balance sheet accounts and support the Customer Success Manager in providing the highest quality accounting and tax services.
\n \nThe core customer industries include Professional Services, Trade Services, Real Estate and Software. We do not work with E-Commerce, Manufacturing or inventory based businesses.
\n \nYour mission will be to apply your skills where applicable to customer's financial records and communicate specific needs upon identification to ensure you have the resources you need for quality and accurate work.
\n \nQualifications

- Proficiency in Bookkeeping and preparing Financial Statements \n
- Experience with Quickbooks Online, Ramp, AMEX, Gusto, ADP, Paylocity & QBO Payroll \n
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Invoice/Payment Reconciliation \n
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail \n
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting \n
- Previous experience in small business accounting is a plus \n
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred \n
