Veterinary Technician
Immediate Supervisor: Principal
FLSA Status: Exempt
Employment Term: Schedules will be based upon the needs of the service
Salary: Pursuant to WV Code 18A-4-2, in accordance with Kanawha County Teacher Salary Schedule
Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated by the building principal/immediate supervisor and in accordance with WV State Code 18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310 and KCS G48A.
Qualifications
A minimum of an Associates degree in veterinary technology is required
A registered Vet Technician license in the state of West Virginia
A minimum of three (4) years of experience as a DVM or RVT is required
Teaching Experience is highly recommended
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal interactions
