Compensation: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

Position OverviewThe primary responsibility of this role is to produce specialized images of specific body parts for medical evaluation and interpretation.
Qualifications- Required:
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
- New Jersey radiology license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Preferred:
- At least two (2) years of experience as a radiology technician
- Delivering radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment as directed.
- Minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
- Ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
- Selecting and preparing contrast media for radiographic and special examinations.
- Processing radiographic images for the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Verifying patient identity and ensuring the correct body part is indicated on all images.
- Managing x-ray requests efficiently.
- Assisting in the training of student technologists.
- Demonstrating technical skills to student radiographers.
