NICU RNs Needed At Per Diem Swedish Medical Center Float Pool

NICU RNs are needed at Per Diem Swedish Medical Center Float Pool. Requirements include:

• 2 years minimum of NICU experience
• AHA BLS and NRP
• Active WA RN license
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2
• Must float to Peds and PICU, will only be assigned newborns and infants
• References that cover 1 year of employment in their specialty within the last 3 years. 1 reference must be a supervisor, charge RNs accepted.
• Must float to all 7 campuses: Ballard, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, First Hill, Issaquah, Mill Creek, and Redmond; but most needs are at First Hill, Edmonds, and Issaquah

Preferred:

• EPIC Charting Experience

EP Information:

• Scheduling: Clinician must schedule 5 days (Wednesday-Sunday OR Thursday-Monday schedule is required) and work 3
• Guarantee: 2 Shifts
• 13 Week Contracts Available
• Extensions available if scheduling requirements are consistently met

Orientation Details:

• Online Virtual Orientation is held every other week on Mondays (clinician must be partially compliant 2 weeks before virtual orientation, because that is when we send the list to the client. Because of this, we need clinicians subbed far in advance)
• Virtual Orientation (Modules) take about 21 hours to complete. - these will be sent on day 1
• Upon completion of Virtual Orientation, 2 Unit Orientation shifts will be scheduled based on RN's availability.

Shift Detail:

• Nights, 12 hours 1900-0730

Additional Details:

• Returning employees coming to any Providence/Swedish facility are allowed to apply after a 6-month separation from any of the Providence/Swedish facilities. Please provide past employment dates on the submittal.
• Travelers may NOT work at a Providence facility (perm or PRN) and also accept a travel job at another Providence facility at the same time.
• COVID Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. Declinations must be approved by the facility, and the CNA must fill out a facility-specific declination form prior to starting.
