Maintenance Technician

We are working with an established **Plastics Manufacturer **based in **Erie, PA. **They are recruiting for an **Maintenance Technician **to join their team on any Shift in return for a salary in the region of **$32 - $38 p/h **along with shift differential, excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.
Duties as an Maintenance Technician :
- Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues including motors, controls
- Replace bearings, rewire motors, and test/verify repairs on automated systems
- Maintaining Injection Mold Machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues
- Welding and fabrication
- Participate in new equipment installations, upgrades and modifications and monitor PLC software
- Machinery installations and assembly
- Conducting preventative and reactive machinery maintenance
- Read schematics and maintenance manuals to perform repairs and installations
Qualifications & Experience required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of Machine Maintenance experience
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems in machinery and facilities
