Join DWC as a Direct Care Staff member, where you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in need. Located in La Mirada, CA, our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and making a positive impact in the community. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior.
- Implement care plans and follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in direct care or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Background check clearance required.
