Job Opportunity

This position involves observing and assisting within a medical-surgical/telemetry unit as a registered nurse. The role requires flexibility to float between units based on skill sets to meet the clinical needs of the hospital.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend or every weekend

On-Call Requirement: No

Floating Required: Yes, between units

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Management
• Feeding Tube Care/Management
• Heparin Protocols
• ABG Interpretation
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation

• Management of Cardiac Drips (no titration)
• PICC Line Management
• Tracheostomy Care/Management
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Work Schedule

Daily Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4

Orientation Hours: 24

Daily Census: Approximately 20 patients

Number of Beds: 23

Additional Information

All travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of the healthcare system. The facility agrees to provide proper notification and support for floating assignments.

Eligible candidates must have their state license in hand at the time of submission and be prepared to work during specified holiday periods.
