Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients in an acute care setting.
• Plan and administer therapy for pediatric populations and adults with neuro-related communication needs and dysphagia; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide co-treatment when indicated to support patient goals.
• Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and coordinate referrals as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and ensure timely follow-up and billing alignment.

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Ohio with CCCs
• Minimum 3 years of experience in speech-language pathology
• Pediatric experience required; experience with pediatric dysphagia and adult neuro populations preferred
• Ability to work in an acute care (inpatient/outpatient) setting
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
