About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery‑Production team member to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. In this role, you will support consistent, safe, and high‑quality food production by monitoring automated systems, verifying product quality, maintaining sanitation standards, and communicating adjustments needed to ensure compliant and efficient manufacturing operations.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6AM - 2:30PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $19.25

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Monitor automated production systems and key process parameters to ensure consistent, high‑quality output
• Inspect products throughout the line to verify quality, spacing, alignment, and weight specifications
• Communicate process deviations, equipment concerns, or quality issues promptly to line leadership
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, and GMP standards across assigned production areas
• Support efficient material flow and equipment performance across proofing, baking, and cooling operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement through AOE practices, Centerline, CIL, and root cause analysis participation
• Uphold a safe, organized, and compliant work environment at all times

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality or process deviations
• Basic mechanical awareness and ability to report equipment issues
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow GMPs, food safety, and safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Prior experience in bakery or food manufacturing operations
• Experience working with automated or continuous production lines
• Familiarity with proofing, baking, cooling, or weighing processes
• Experience participating in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing activities
• Ability to train or support others using standard work procedures
