Unit Manager - Telework Hybrid

Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

If you are a self-starter and detail-oriented professional with human resources and training experience, the Operations Division Staff Services Unit may be the place for you! Under the direction of a Supervisor II, the Supervisor I leads a team of Human Resources (HR) Liaisons and the Divisional Training Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources, hiring, and training with excellent initiative and verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible in new and challenging situations and the ability to monitor staffing workloads and utilize databases and reporting tools to support the division’s hiring and workforce development objectives.

Working Conditions

Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
