Sales, Purchasing & Inventory CoordinatorPacAero Agawam is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales, Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This position provides administrative and operational support across Sales and Purchasing, and Inventory, helping keep customer orders, purchasing activities and internal communication organized and moving efficiently. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working with computers and spreadsheets, and wants to learn more about the business side of manufacturing. Prior aerospace or manufacturing experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person. This position is onsite in Agawam, MA, full-time, Monday – Friday.Sales & Customer SupportProvide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales teamEnter and maintain customer orders and related information in company systemsAssist with customer inquiries regarding order status, lead times, pricing, and delivery informationPrepare quotes, order acknowledgments, reports, and other sales documentationMaintain accurate customer records and sales-related documentationFollow up on open orders and assist with routine customer communicationWork with Production, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to support customer requirementsCommunicate order updates, changes, or potential delays to the appropriate team membersPurchasing SupportCreate and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, and servicesCommunicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order statusFollow up on open purchase orders and assist with expediting materials when neededAssist with obtaining vendor quotes and maintaining vendor informationVerify purchasing documentation for accuracy and completenessUpdate purchase order information and expected delivery dates within company systemsAssist with purchasing-related follow-up and discrepanciesMaintain organized purchasing records and supporting documentationAdministrative & Operational SupportMaintain organized electronic and physical recordsPrepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentationPerform accurate and timely data entryAssist with maintaining information within the ERP systemProvide general administrative support across departments as neededAssist with special projects and cross-functional activitiesProvide backup administrative support within the office as neededPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious administrative, customer service, sales support, purchasing or manufacturing experience preferred, but not requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, requiredComfortable working with spreadsheets, data entry, and computer-based systemsAbility and willingness to learn ERP/MRP and other company systemsExperience with an ERP/MRP system is a plusManufacturing or aerospace experience is a plus, but not requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsComfortable managing multiple tasks and changing prioritiesStrong computer skills and ability to learn new systemsGood written and verbal communication skillsDependable and able to follow through on open itemsComfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and employees across multiple departmentsWillingness to ask questions and learn new processesAbility to work independently while also being part of a teamPositive, professional, and team-oriented attitudeWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPrimarily an office environment within an active manufacturing facilityFrequent use of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipmentAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periodsOccasional walking throughout production, inventory, and shipping/receiving areasAbility to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 lbs.Must follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated manufacturing areasPayThe pay range listed for this position represents a good-faith estimate based on the role, internal equity, market data, and geographic location.
