A Mammography Technologist at our Diagnostic Imaging Center specializes in performing high-quality mammogram imaging using advanced 3D Tomosynthesis equipment. This role involves patient interaction, careful image capture and analysis, and ensuring equipment and process integrity to support accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Screen patients for mammography suitability and preparedness
- Perform precise mammogram imaging using 3D Tomosynthesis technology
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment according to protocols
- Analyze images to ensure clarity and diagnostic value
- Conduct quality control procedures to maintain imaging standards
- Educate patients on the mammography process and address concerns
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in mammography technology
- Certification in Mammography
