Facilities / Janitorial AssistantThe Facilities / Janitorial Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and safety of company facilities. This value set is the secret behind our incredible growth, amazing team, and why the future looks even brighter.What You'll Do:Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and other common areas on a regular scheduleEnsure all facilities are stocked with necessary supplies (paper products, soap, sanitizer, etc.)Stock and maintain food, snacks, beverages, utensils, and other break room supplies.Perform routine janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface disinfectionFollow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines in a manufacturing environmentMaintain cleanliness standards in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities teamRegularly check inventory of break room and cleaning supplies (coffee, snacks, paper products, cleaning solutions, etc.), restock as needed, and notify the appropriate person when items are running low and need to be reordered.Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipmentMounting and hanging shelves and TV's exc.Changing Light bulbs and batteriesPutting together office furniturePartner with People Operations, Facilities and leadership to address facility needs and improve the employee workplace experience.Support waste management and recycling initiatives in alignment with sustainability goalsRespond promptly to spills, hazards, or urgent cleaning needsCollaborate with team members and other departments to maintain a clean and organized workplaceUtilize workplace communication tools, including email, Slack, and other internal platforms, to communicate with employees, respond to requests, coordinate tasks, and provide timely updatesTake on special projects and other responsibilities as needed to support the organization and its facilities.Who You Are:Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygieneReliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independentlyComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTakes pride in creating a clean and welcoming space for othersUnderstands the importance of sanitation in a food production settingPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAble to follow procedures and safety guidelines consistentlyQualifications:2+ years of experience in facilities, property management, or manufacturing support.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication abilities.Tech-savvy and proficient in email, Slack, and other workplace communication tools.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.Ability to travel between company locations.Reliable transportation and ability to safely operate a personal vehicle for business purposes.Must be comfortable with local travel as part of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role.Mileage will be reimbursed for approved business-related travel in accordance with company policy.Preferred Skills:Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.OSHA or safety training certifications.Fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus.Compensation & Benefits:In accordance with Minnesota's Pay Transparency Law (effective January 1, 2025), the salary range for this position is $23/hr - $26/hr.We believe taking care of our people is part of doing things For the Love of Body and Planet™, so we back that up with:Health, dental, and vision insurance — we cover 80% of premiums for you and your dependents401(k) with a 3% company match — because building wealth shouldn't wait$500 annual company contribution to your FSA — real dollars toward real expensesDiscretionary Time Off — no accrual, take the time you need (exempt roles)12 weeks Paid Primary Caregiver Leave — because growing families shouldn't have to choose4 weeks Paid Secondary Caregiver Leave — for partners, tooFull peace-of-mind coverage — Short Term and Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&DOpportunities to connect and give back — team gatherings and volunteer days throughout the yearBenefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
