- Lab TechnicianApply**Job#: 3044855****Job Description:**Lab Technician**Location:** Palm, Pennsylvania (Onsite)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lab Technician to join the Analytical Lab of a chemical company in the Palm, PA area. This role involves performing analysis of pure gases and gas mixtures, operating purification systems, and maintaining quality control standards within a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities* Operate and work with GC (FID or TCD detectors) and Moisture/Oxygen Analyzers.* Perform analysis of pure gases and gas mixtures.* Sample and analyze incoming bulk deliveries, storage tanks, sample cylinders, and product cylinders for quality control.* Operate selected purification systems across different shifts.* Maintain laboratory equipment in good working order and perform simple instrument maintenance.* Prepare analytical reports and maintain quality control records and logbooks.* Adhere to all quality assurance policies and standards, including maintaining calibration logs.* Follow all company safety procedures, keeping the work area clean and orderly.Required Qualifications**Education:** A minimum of an Associate's degree is required. A four-year degree in a Life Science, such as Chemistry, is preferred. Candidates with a High School diploma will also be considered.**Technical Skills:** Experience with Gas Chromatography (GC).**Physical Requirements:** Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work outside, climb ladders, use hand tools, and move gas cylinders. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
