Lab Technician - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Job Description Join us as we grow! Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. To get you started on the right foot, this position may include an in‑person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility. $1,000 sign‑on bonus may be offered for this position, distributed based on your continued success with the team. This position is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, and intermediate products to ensure quality control and process optimization within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves collecting samples, preparing specimens, conducting tests, and documenting results accurately. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect samples of raw materials, and intermediate products according to established sampling procedures. Communicate test results and ensure non‑conforming material is processed appropriately. Conduct laboratory tests and analyses, including but not limited to: Particle size analysis (e.g., sieve analysis, laser diffraction) Color analysis Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment. Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system. Operate, clean, and maintain all equipment in the lab. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition. Keep work area clean and orderly. Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation. Basic computer skills. Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications. Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of Statistical Process Control software. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Basic math skills. Industrial work experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Industrial Work Experience. Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises. Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions. Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift. Handle chemicals. Bend over multiple times throughout shift. Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements Steel‑toed boots. Hearing protection. Safety glasses. Cut‑proof gloves. Latex gloves. Face shield. High‑visibility vest. Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean‑shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin). Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15—$20.04. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job‑related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
