Growing together.The Fraud Analyst will be responsible for reviewing daily reports to identify suspicious bank account and debit card activity and as needed, perform additional research to confirm fraud. The Fraud Analyst will also be responsible for processing debit card disputes and chargebacks. The Fraud Analyst will be responsible to learn and understand procedures and work independently to research and report cases of fraud to the Director of Fraud.Primary Responsibilities:Perform in-depth analytical and data research within banking systems to investigate customer and transactional activity for fraudulent and high-risk activityAnalyze data for trends and carries out strategies and programs to reduce risk and fraudTake necessary action, when fraud is identified, to prevent additional fraud and work fraud case, per procedureCommunicate with customers who are victims of fraud, answering their questions and helping them to secure their accountAssist in and proactively contribute to the development of fraud detectionPartner and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and IT teams to resolve issues and investigate fraud casesCommunicate significant issues to management; make recommendations when weaknesses are identifiedBalance priorities to meet multiple deadlinesParticipate on special projects and complete other duties as required or assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:2+ years of experience in general banking operations2+ years of experience in payment fraud investigation, online fraud, or financial crime risk management2+ years investigative and data analytical skills with the ability to identify and clearly articulate key risks and issues1+ years card fraud investigation or card processing experienceProficient Excel experience (e.g., filter, sort, V-lookup)Database software query experience (i.e., SQL, Databricks, etc.)Must reside and work onsite (Draper UT or Eden Prairie MN)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Information Technology from an accredited institution1+ years customer service experience and the ability to interact with customers in a professional mannerExperience in healthcare payments, particularly healthcare payments fraudProven ability to make decisions independently with minimal guidance from managementPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment.
