As a Texas Instruments (TI) Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team oriented environment with exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications each day.Responsibilities may include:Research and create new product definitions, including developing business case proposals, product strategies and taking products to RTMAnalyze key end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer and computing spaces to identify future trends, identifying opportunities for improving performance and adding value to these systemsAssess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design team and customersBe the technical expert, responsible for product ramp up for the customerSilicon system evaluation (HW, SW if needed) and related documentationApplication support for newly introduced and existing productsSupport and train central applications engineering and sales organizations on new/existing productsRelentlessly drive new design wins for new and existing productsTrouble-shoot customer application issues by lab testing, schematic analysis and other methods, as necessaryBring quick resolution to customer problems by interfacing across different functional groups such as design, product, test, packaging, marketing and salesAssist with generating the revenue plan for the organizationDefinition of successful new products at TI, system evaluation and taking the products to RTMCreate technical literature such as datasheets, application notes, user's guides, EVMs, spice models, SCMs etc.Revenue growth through adoption of new and existing productsBuild relationships with customers/field teams by closely interacting with them to identify and solve system problems with TI siliconContribute to the short and long term product strategy and roadmapQualificationsMinimum requirements:Masters degree in Electrical Engineering5 years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC's and their applicationExperience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutionsStrong customer facing skillsFamiliarity with lab equipmentSystem level circuit modeling with EDA tools, SPICE, MatlabPreferred qualifications:Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
