• Translate business requirements into simple, easy-to-understand tangible solution specifications and high-quality, on-time deliverables that use data to answer questions.
• Support quarterly business reviews, executive strategy presentations, and business-as usual metric tracking from an analytics and reporting standpoint
• Quickly understand how the Experience and Disputes offerings serve our customers' needs and how this translates into data-driven value for new and existing customers
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology, Sales, and Account Management to templatize, automate, and deliver data requests
• Teach internal customers how to use new business intelligence reports and tools by documenting processes and help guides All About You:
• Direct experience in business analytics, consulting, or other data driven storytelling roles
• Extensive hands-on SQL expertise as well as experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Hadoop, Tableau, PowerPivot, and Excel. Also need a strong understanding of relational database concepts and the ability to define relationships between database tables.
• Strong track record of working independently, solving complex problems and delivering insights with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling with data abilities, especially in senior executive presentations
• Experience in the payments industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a background in data analytics, data science or related field preferred but not required Corporate Security Responsibility Every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security. Senior Data Analyst-2
Position Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Pune, India
