Implementation Manager (Procurement)

Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding: serve as primary contact, conduct kickoff meetings, gather business processes and requirements, and provide expert guidance on best practices for implementing and configuring SaaS products. Project Management: carry out basic project‑management activities, ensure work stays within scope, plan and execute reliable communications, evaluate risk points, and advise customers on change management. Product Configuration: customize system settings, workflows, and integrations to align with client requirements, using out‑of‑the‑box functionality whenever possible. Depending on the product you may also: work extensively in Excel to prepare data and perform initial data loads, write simple scripts, and author ad hoc reports on behalf of the customer. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: work closely with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to adoption, influence product design, and deliver a coherent high‑quality client experience. Training and Documentation: develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions, create and maintain implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge‑base articles. Issue Resolution: identify and address implementation challenges, troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, and provide timely updates to clients. Continuous Improvement: actively contribute to the enhancement of implementation processes and methodologies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of client‑facing implementation experience, preferably in SaaS. Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and lead workshops. Technical aptitude, ability to learn new software quickly and identify implementation challenges. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; high comfort with Excel. Experience designing and documenting database‑derived reports with SSRS or PowerBI is a significant plus. Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations, especially GovTech, is a plus. Familiarity with Autotask, Asana, or similar project‑tracking tools is a plus.
