• As a Quality Control Inspector at Mainstream, you will constantly verify that mission-critical parts are being produced that meet or exceed required tolerances and standards.
• Responsible to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of parts that are produced from our various manufacturing departments (waterjet, milling, turning)
• Will work with a team of Quality Control Technicians and Department Leads to coordinate a smooth and efficient flow of work that maximizes production
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and use that ability in determining if a part being inspected passes or fails
• Ability to use standard measurement devices (ID/OD micrometers, pin gauges, calipers, depth micrometers, comparators, etc.)
• Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports/forms
• Must possess a working knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to prioritize jobs and multi-task when needed
• Experience with Hexagon CMM, Absolute Arms, or FARO arms is a plus
• CAD/CAM experience is a plus
• Prior machining experience is a plus
• Experience with ISO:9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus
