Description Salary: $19-21/ hour Position Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and products to ensure quality standards are met according to company, customer, and regulatory agency standards. Primary Functions: Monitor and review information for the evaluation of materials and products Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications or standards Participate in testing processes to ensure adherence to specifications or standards Collect and sort materials or samples for processing/testing Conduct tests and inspections of products Communicate nonconformance or production issues Contribute to tagging and quarantine procedures Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications and/or material requirements Maintain good housekeeping standards and comply with applicable regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Primary Competencies: Good written and verbal communication skills Team player attitude Attention to detail Ability to self-motivate and fulfill obligations Competent in use of computer and programs such as MS Office products and an ERP Culture: Openly demonstrate servant leadership Champion safety, company culture and ethics Actively work to create strong communication and a healthy work environment Communicate in a positive manner with all employees Respectfully listen to concerns and ideas brought to your attention Support and participate in company functions Respect confidentiality Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of relevant inspection experience Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as: Safely navigating a manufacturing environment Extended periods of standing, walking, and frequent bending and stooping Using tools and equipment Lifting up to 50 lbs.
