This role works closely with field personnel, project teams, leadership, and customers to identify quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspections, audits, and evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Monitor project activities, operational processes, and workmanship quality to verify compliance with established procedures and expectations. Identify quality deficiencies, document findings, and communicate corrective action requirements to management and field personnel. Verify completion of corrective actions and perform follow-up inspections as necessary. Maintain accurate quality control records, reports, inspection documentation, and tracking systems. Collaborate with project management, operations, field teams, and leadership to resolve quality-related concerns and improve operational performance. Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and best practices across operations. Analyze inspection results and quality trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Support training initiatives related to quality standards, compliance requirements, and workmanship expectations. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates, recommendations, and reporting to leadership. Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding quality expectations and concerns. Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education High School Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspections, compliance standards, and operational best practices. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and support process improvements effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management or project tracking software preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and teams. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to mentor and support team members as needed. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks. English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Quality Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of quality control, inspections, construction operations, or related experience preferred. Residential construction or service industry experience preferred. Previous experience supporting process improvement or operational quality initiatives preferred. Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, climb, and movement between office and job site environments. Travel as required to support project and operational needs. Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require. Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures. Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology. Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
