Job Summary We are looking for a Document Scanning Technician to join our team in Clawson, Michigan. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, motivated, and comfortable using general office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with document scanning is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Prepare documents: remove physical breaks, staples, clips, and bindings. Use the Image Scanner(s) to scan original documents. Check scanning specifications for accuracy and quality requirements. Set scanner parameters for each job to meet customer specifications. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of scanners to ensure image quality; perform routine equipment maintenance as required. Log document numbers automatically assigned during scanning for future retrieval. Write, type, or enter information into the computer via MS Word, MS Excel, or other departmental systems to prepare documents or reports. Review all output images for proper sizing, resolution, and overall quality. Photocopy documents using a photocopier when required. Box records for shipment and lift up to 35 pounds. Maintain an organized facility that meets high quality standards. Assist other team members with document preparation. Follow organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience operating high‑volume Image/OCR scanners in a production environment or applicable office technologies. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
