Job Overview A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney in Troy, MI, to guide families through the estate planning process with clarity and compassion. This role emphasizes client experience, requiring the attorney to communicate complex legal concepts in everyday language and build meaningful relationships. Duties Lead client meetings to facilitate estate planning design, review, and signing appointments. Explain legal concepts simply to empower clients. Build client trust and maintain strong professional relationships. Provide legal oversight to ensure document accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with paralegals and the legal team for smooth case flow. Respond to client inquiries for clarification and guidance. Maintain accurate case documentation for continuity of service. Contribute to firm culture and growth through team participation. Promote client follow-through on estate planning steps. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Michigan. 2+ years of experience in estate planning or related areas. Strong client communication skills. Confidence in leading client-facing meetings. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong writing and drafting skills. Proactive, team-first mindset. Comfort with legal technology and systems. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
