Responsibilities
- Provide registered nursing care in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings with a 50/50 assignment split
- Perform initial patient assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and timely escalation of care
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; observe for adverse reactions and document responses
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and ED/trauma protocols; support physician and multidisciplinary team during procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the electronic health record; ensure safe patient transitions and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions; coordinate with case management as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in the applicable state (Montana) or eligible for licensure; valid, unrestricted licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with 12-hour shift blocks; willingness to float as needed
- Submission documents: JHP Cover Sheet, Work History, Skills Checklist, Professional State License, current BLS certification, and 2 professional references within the last 2 years
