School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Red Rock, Arizona

Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Red Rock, AZ. This engaging full-time, full-school-year assignment is an itinerant role across three high school sites, focusing primarily on Mountain View H.S., with additional students at Vista and MCAT locations. You’ll manage a dynamic caseload of approximately 60-70 students, supporting individuals with needs ranging from mild articulation challenges to more significant disabilities and adaptive cluster programs, including those on the autism spectrum. Key Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid and active Arizona state SLP licensure and standard certificate Current IVP fingerprint clearance card Prior experience in school-based settings, especially with high school populations, is strongly preferred Ability to travel between multiple sites as required Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in alignment with IEP goals Carry out thorough documentation and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive student support Support students with a wide range of disabilities, including those in adaptive cluster programs and with ASD You’ll step into a collaborative atmosphere within the high school community, enjoying the opportunity to positively impact diverse student populations.
