Accounting Supervisor - Fixed Assets

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience Accounting Supervisor – Fixed Assets Join a company known for its long‑standing stability and people‑first culture as an Accounting Supervisor – Fixed Assets. This is a rare opportunity to lead the fixed asset accounting function, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The role is open due to an internal promotion, offering hands‑on training from the previous supervisor. Key Responsibilities & Duties Oversee fixed asset accounting processes Maintain accuracy of asset records Coordinate physical asset inventories Calculate and review depreciation expenses Prepare and review journal entries Reconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger Support month‑end and year‑end close activities Track capital expenditures against budgets Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement teams Identify process improvement opportunities Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with fixed asset accounting Working knowledge of capitalization policies and GAAP Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience Prior supervisory or team leadership experience Experience in a capital‑intensive industry ERP system experience or implementation exposure Experience with process improvement initiatives Strong attention to detail Profit sharing + up to 50% company match on 6% 401(k) contributions Comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process Other Information Interview process: Onsite, 1 to 2 rounds with the Controller Hands‑on training from the previous supervisor Company culture emphasizes safety, teamwork, and stewardship We are Inceed, a staffing direct placement firm who believes in the possibility of something better.
