Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:40 - 17:10) Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. License: RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required (AHA only) Must-Have: Circulation experience in inpatient or ambulatory operating room required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. You will be an integral part of a team that performs multispecialty procedures. You will assume overall responsibility for the management of the operating room assigned to you. This role offers the opportunity to both circulate and scrub during surgeries. Your shifts will be Monday through Friday, with no weekends and no holidays. You will work 10-hour shifts from 06:40 to 17:10. Rotating days off will occur each week. A telemetry exam will be required prior to the start of the assignment. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms: ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole. No incorrect answers are permitted on questions regarding third-degree heart blocks. A passing score of 80% or higher is necessary. In the pediatric exam, you must identify ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia. You will be expected to maintain high standards in patient care while working in a fast-paced environment. Locals cannot be accepted for this position. Floating to different areas may be required as needed. All candidates must comply with health and safety protocols.
