Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment applications, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Assist with cash applications and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account-related questions and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile AR accounts and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Ensure accounts receivable processes and documentation comply with applicable insurance requirements, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized records and support process improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable compliance requirements.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to grow professionally.
