Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Greensburg, PA 15601

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days Nights (3×12), 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hrs./week

 

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Strong skills in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, cardiac monitoring, and critical care procedures
• Travel experience not required

Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill adult and geriatric ICU patients.
• Monitor, assess, and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications, cardiac drips, sedatives, and emergency medications.
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and chest tubes.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, ABGs, and 12-lead ECGs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
