Job TitleAllied Health ProfessionalDutiesTotal Rewards of an Allied Health Professional Duties may include but are not limited to:Receives telephone calls from beneficiaries, caregivers, and others through the automated call distribution system.Answers inquiries regarding a broad range of topics, including prescription status, medication refills, package tracking, and medications available through MbM.Validates beneficiary contact information, ensuring the address is correct to avoid delays in prescription delivery.Processes prescription refill requests, sending electronic requests for prescription renewal when appropriate.Uses the highest level of customer service to provide patient education via telephone on the medication refill process, use of the automated refill line, use of the internet refill system, and general information such as electronic prescribing information for future new prescriptions.Receives packages containing medications returned to MbM. Contacts beneficiary to verify address and use of medication.
