Actuarial Analyst IILocation: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.The Actuarial Analyst II is responsible for completing projects and performs complex actuarial studies.How You Will Make an ImpactPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:Supports the preparation of Medicare Advantage (MA) bid submissionsObtains, verifies, analyzes and models data for MA supplemental benefit pricing developmentPartners with benefit vendor management team to ensure accurate interpretation of vendor payment arrangementsAssists in ad hoc projects in building and refining pricing factors and modelsMinimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:Intermediate Excel experience preferred.Intermediate SQL query experience preferred.Strong organization and project management experience preferred.Health insurance industry experience preferred.Job Level: Non-Management Exempt
