GOAL Family Medical PC is a busy private family practice in Lynbrook, NY, and we're looking for an experienced Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. You'll be the first face our patients see and a key support to our providers. If you're organized, reliable, and kind, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
• Greet and check in patients and keep the front desk running on schedule
• Handle scheduling, phones, and other administrative tasks accurately and on time
• Triage patients and take vital signs
• Perform venipuncture (phlebotomy)
• Assist providers with routine clinical tasks
• Work with insurance companies to support accurate billing
• Track inventory and keep supplies stocked
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
• Venipuncture experience
• Familiarity with medical billing and insurance
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks
• Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team
• Stays focused and professional during patient care
• Reliable transportation and a consistent record of being on time
• A friendly attitude that puts patients first
• Starting pay of $24 per hour
• Paid time off, including vacation and sick days
• Retirement plan, fully vested after 3 years
• A close knit team in a supportive family practice
