Deviations & Investigations Scientist

Eurofins BioPharm Services seeks a Deviations & Investigations Scientist to lead quality investigations, root cause analyses, and compliance documentation in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This intermediate-level role combines scientific expertise with technical writing and quality systems knowledge in a partially remote setting in Columbia, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Lead and document laboratory investigations for deviations, OOS, OOT, and atypical quality events
• Perform root cause analyses and support development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Review analytical data and laboratory documentation to validate investigation conclusions
• Support stability testing and batch release programs through data review and quality assessments
• Collaborate across laboratory, quality, and operational teams to resolve technical and compliance issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field
• 1–3 years experience in cGMP-compliant laboratory settings
• GLP and/or GMP experience with hands-on HPLC and/or GC knowledge preferred
• LIMS system experience desirable
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the US without sponsorship
