Bioanalytical Scientist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins BPT-Columbia seeks a Bioanalytical Scientist to execute and support development of bioanalytical methods for biopharmaceutical testing in a regulated environment. The role involves hands-on bioassay work, method validation, data analysis, and technical documentation in compliance with cGMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine bioanalytical testing following cGMP guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures
Execute, develop, optimize, and validate bioassays including ELISA, multiplex assays, and ECL methodologies
Analyze assay data using laboratory software and statistical tools; interpret results for accuracy and quality
Prepare technical documentation including protocols, validation reports, and laboratory records
Support troubleshooting activities, contribute to continuous improvement, and communicate findings to stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related field plus 1+ year industry experience; or Master's degree with lab experience
Hands-on experience with ELISA, multiplex immunoassays, ECL assays, or similar bioanalytical platforms
Experience supporting assay development, qualification, validation, or transfer activities
Background in immunology, cell biology, biologics, monoclonal antibodies, or protein therapeutics
Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, FDA, and regulated laboratory environments
Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and technical writing skills
Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
