Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative , you’ll play a key role in building lasting customer relationships and driving business growth. You’ll work closely with customers, outside sales, vendors, and internal teams to deliver responsive, reliable service—becoming a trusted point of contact while developing strong product knowledge. In this role, you’ll support an existing customer base while actively identifying new opportunities, making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the success of the business. Salary Range: $18.00 - $30.00/hour depending on direct experience with products/industry Full-time, on-site. Monday-Friday. Competitive Benefits Package EAP PTO program and paid holidays 401K Company provided life insurance (after 1 year of employment) ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Determine customer requirements to recommend specific products, solutions, or services Introduce new products to existing customers Retain existing customers by building rapport and providing unmatched customer service Receive and process orders from customers utilizing our ERP system Maintain proper records of all transactions (sales orders, cancellations, returns, credits, warranties, complaints) and perform follow-up activity Provide timely solutions to customer queries Prepare and follow up on customer quotations Maintain liaison with other departments for order completion and timely shipment Work with vendors as necessary to gather information regarding pricing and availability Correspond with customers via e-mail and telephone Provide back up support to team members as required Manage pricing and margins in conjunction with outside sales to maximize profitability Attend training to obtain relevant knowledge regarding existing and new product lines Vigorously seek prospective new accounts employing standard sales methods Load and maintain Rebates in ERP system as well as contact vendors for special pricing or renewal of expired Special Price Agreements and Rebates Requirements for the position include but not limited to the following: Overall knowledge and understanding of Controls, VFDs, PLCs, and motors Must be able to handle a high call volume environment Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem solving and reconciliation skills necessary Must be committed to learn our business and all the product lines and to keep up to date as well Ability to remain professional and focused with customers on the phone and successfully conclude the call despite any challenges presented by the customerMust be a Self-motivated and sales driven individual Experienced being responsible for maintaining and exceeding quota’s/sales goals Experience with our ERP System that is called Epicor Solar Eclipse is a big plus Must be able to learn our Windows based and our text command-based ERP System Valid and clean driver's license Physical Ability Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation) Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time Our Core Values Our People Relationships Sustainability Growth Determination Power-Flo Technologies is a unique family of companies consisting of distributors, fabricators, manufacturers and motor and pump repair firms serving the New York metropolitan, New England, and Upstate New York areas.
